HOT APPLE CIDER
+ SHIBUYA, TOKYO

dean_deluca_mini.jpgNO, Dean & Deluca is not cheap. Nothing they sell is cheap, ever. If you’ve lived in Tokyo more than a year, and you’re from America, there’s a small chance you’re missing something. If that something is hot apple cider, then this is you’re only choice. After years of Tokyo life, I have yet to find anyone that makes or even sells apple cider. Dean & Deluca certainly delivers, at a price. There are a few branches in Tokyo now, the most prominent being the Shinagawa market store. To their credit, they aren’t as intrusive as Starbucks, and still remain fairly secluded to only a few locations. The Shibuya branch being the most convenient with a late night window serving hot drinks and baked goods. Your only other alternative, beyond Dean & Deluca, for apple cider is to get a friend who works on the base to pick it up for you. They sell it in their super market, bottled and complete with all those American preservatives and goodness. If you try to get on the base yourself without a military friend or military ID then I can guarantee you’ll be arrested within several seconds. Stick to Dean & Deluca.

Dean & Deluca

To get to Dean & Deluca
1. Exit Shibuya Station from the opposite side of the Hachiko exit
2. Walk right, past Beard Papa and the flower shop.
3. You’ll see it next to the Starbucks. Avoid Starbucks and go straight to Dean & Deluca.
4. Their muffins are good too, almost like the sugar-loaded kind we have back in America.

Are you serious?Really?I\'ll try itSounds great!Brilliant, I\'m there! (No Ratings Yet)
